Because My Better Half is traveling this week, Calvin is stuck in his crate all day while I’m at work. I have been getting up two hours earlier all week so that he can frolic and bounce and lick and do all those puppy things for a few hours until I need to leave.
TWO hours earlier…ALL week. Oh, and did I mention that I’ve also been staying up later than usual so he can frolic and bounce and lick and do all those puppy things for as long as possible before I have to put him back in the crate for the night?
I am exhausted. And despite all my efforts, Calvin has been waking up every morning about an hour before my alarm goes off. In zombie mode, I get up, let him outside to do his thing and then return him to his crate.
An hour later when my alarm sounds I get up again, feed Calvin and Levi, play with them for a while and get ready for work. I’m so tired by the time I have to leave and my day is really just starting.
But see why I do it?

Cut it out. Your making me want a puppy. And I've sworn "no more beasts" in my house!
HUGS!
Yeah, I'm finding out from you and a friend of mine, both of you have new puppies, that this whole puppy-ownership thing is like having a newborn human baby.
Um, yeah. I think I'll wait on that! :)

OK. I've recovered now.
