I know some of you will not agree, but can we agree to disagree? Anyhoo, I just need to vent…I just watched the debate and Argh!!! WTF John McCant?
Not looking for comments, just Argh!!!
I’m going to Seattle for a long weekend With My Better Half and hoping for no rain and photo opportunities. My funny bone is healing and I hope to be back here, posting more frequently than I have been.
On a side note: Maybe John McCant and Sarah Failin’ should get on the same page as the majority of Americans? Their rhetoric with ‘Joe the Plumber’ just isn’t washing with me; or should I say flushing? Just wondering, am I flushing or washing?
P.S. I hope you all have a great weekend.

I hear ya, Linda. Terribly, terribly frustrating stuff. I gnashed my teeth several times while watching the debate. Not long to go now, though.
Enjoy your weekend!
Hi ya L,
You know, I don't know what is up with this election. For some reason, the "powers that be" have usually given us the chance to pick between the lesser of two evils. This is the first time in a very long time that one side is just so clearly more evil than the other. I got my Obama yard sign up on Sunday. Two others in the neighborhood have been so bold in this very, very red state. Today was the first morning that I've seen a neighbor bring his dog over to "water" my yard sign. I guess this is not really so bad. I had to open the door and say "Hi!", so I'm meeting people. The grass around the sign is getting greener too.
We have a Democratic governor here. I was the only one in the neighborhood with one of his yard signs. The lawn was amazingly green by the end of that campaign, and Gov. Brad Henry won re-election by a country mile :-)
Best wishes,
Skeeter
Yeah, I'm thinking I missed most of the "good" parts of the debate because I was watching episodes of "The Office" online.
Priorities.
I used to think that John and I had something in common, both being Vets, and all. Somewhere along the way, we went down completely divergent paths. I realize his experience was more intense and longer lasting than mine. But I think his compassion and his common sense got buried in that prison camp.
I watched the debates in HORROR.
No wonder we are ALL depressed. If McCan't gets in that white house we are in SERIOUS trouble.
Well, Linda, you know what I think about this farce, so I won't go on about it too much. I chose to have fun (maybe a little too much) last night over watching the debate. I know who I'm voting for, so there wasn't any point getting more annoyed.
I did notice that McCant was looking especially crazy tonight on the news. His little rat eyes were out of control, and he was laughing like a mad man. Hmmm.
I have so much anxiety about Nov 5th. I have never been so stressed and borderline depressed in my whole life. I don't want to leave my country, but I just cannot imagine life with those two Republitards in office.
My history professor husband laughed out loud several times during the debate at JM. I only watched a bit as I was doing a paper, but it was unimpressive. I watched the news last night and Bob, the moderator told Katie that the tension was palpable, that Obama and McCain do not like each other.
He won't get elected. It can't happen. Period.
Have a FANTASTIC time with hubby in Seattle!!!!!
I was screaming at the TV. Especially when the debater was HANDING him stuff to say to Obama..errrrrrrrgh. Have a GREAT weekend!!
