Excuses, excuses My top five reasons for not being here....

I haven’t been here in several weeks; I guess I’ve been a bad, bad girl. But I couldn’t have been that bad because Santa did come to my house and eat that plate of cookies I left out…who am I kidding; it was probably the dogs that ate them. And truth be told, if I was a ‘bad’ girl my husband would be walking around with a big smile on his face.

The holidays, family and friends have taken precedence over blogging…and they will for the next couple of weeks as we’re heading down to Florida to see my mother-in-law for her birthday next week.

Anyhoo, here are the top five excuses reasons I haven’t been around lately:

5. I got a magic kit for Christmas and I made myself disappear.
4. I lost my thinking cap.
3. My Christmas tree is still up and you want me to blog?
2. I’ve been taken hostage by the blogging police.
1. One of my New Year’s resolutions was to blog more. I haven’t quit smoking or started exercising, so why would I keep the one about blogging?

Basically I’m just taking a little time out. I’ll be back because I enjoy it, I miss it, and I miss all of you.
