Shit or Get Off the Pot...

Yeah, I’ve been a lazy ass mother f’er when it comes to blogging lately. It’s not that I feel all that bad about not posting because who wants to read about how I have nothing of interest or importance to say but let me waste your time reading crap filler. No, I don’t feel bad about that. I do feel bad that I’ve been a lazy ass mother f’er and haven’t been keeping up on visiting my usual haunts. Here’s where you nod in agreement and that’s okay. I’m not perfect, even though my PhotoShopped ass is .

So the pics above are from our numerous excursions to Home Depot, Lowes, Menards and Hobos shopping for the bathroom remodel. Do you realize how many toilets there are to choose from? Not to mention sinks…

…and faucets…

I’ll spare you the tile dilemma, not because I feel like you’ve been overloaded with pictures, but because I didn’t have my camera with me that day.

Now I absolutely loved the sinks in the first two pictures, but plumbing logistics (and my husband) made it impossible. The one I went with is in the fifth picture. It’s the one on the right. I did not purchase the faucet they had paired with it as the price tag screamed $353.00. Yeah, $353.00 for a bathroom faucet! No thanks, I’m quite happy with the one that looked fairly similar for $99.99.

So my newly updated “Spare” bathroom is now the nicest room in my house. And although I have high hopes of having the rest of the rooms catch up with it, it will probably be awhile. I’ll post pics of the finished project in my next post. And yes, there will be one soon. I have officially shit on my new pot and will now get off my ass.

In an odd way, I'm a little jealous. I've never been able to christen a toilet before.

We redid our bathroom a few years ago and we installed the Champion. Yes. That IS the name of the commode. Advertisements say it will flush 21 golf balls. I don't KNOW why anyone would want to flush 21 golf balls at once, down the toilet - except as a substitute for playing a round of golf, I suppose - but I digress - with MY three sons, believe me when I tell you, installing THAT john was a wise and intelligent move.

I'm so jealous! I've been dying to redo our bathroom, but the price is just outrageous!!!!

Love your choices, though, and I'm glad you're back, too ;)
