Here's the Thing...

…I haven’t been blogging lately. Nada, zilch, zero.

I know, I know. How many times have you read that? I could now give you a neatly bullet pointed list of the reasons why, but I’ll just sum it up in 14 words:

Husband working in India for four months; home for three weeks; went back today.

I’ve had a gazillion things I’ve wanted to dump into the Blogosphere, but I’ve been hibernating. Now that Spring has finally sprung I think I’m ready…or almost.

Lou (lovely Lou) called me this evening to check up on me. We had a really nice conversation and during it I expressed my concern over posting and not reading. You see, I have ‘marked all as read’ on Google Reader more times than I’d like to admit and I feel guilty not reading and commenting if I do start posting. On the other hand I know that a journey starts with the first step and, I guess, this is my first step.

Thank you, Lou, for pulling my head out of my ass for being my friend.

I am glad you had hubby home for a spell - can't wait to see what you write next!

I've been wondering about you. It's alright to clear out the Reader. I do it from time to time. Blogging shouldn't feel like an obligation.

Do what's right for you.

Yea, what Badass said. Sometimes we can't do it all...and we shouldn't. We miss you and like it when you are here. There's no script, though. It's all good.
Glad you got some hubby time!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your time with him while he was home. Don't worry about this stuff. We're here when you get around to it. =)

The "Mark All As Read" button is a lifesaver from time to time ... we all use it.

Glad you got to enjoy the time with hubby...we're all here when you get back to it. And if you don't, we'll just stalk you by email :-)

I "Marked All As Read" over the Easter weekend. Don't worry about it, hon. You've had quite the upheaval in your life with hubby gone halfway 'round the world. Write when you feel it. We'll be here.
