Quick Post…

After looking at more flats than I care to remember, I think we found one.  We’re going back this evening to make a thorough list of what needs to be painted, replaced, etc., and from there discuss the rent.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this is it and I get out of this hotel soon…

…speaking of this hotel, they got me again with the soup.  I ordered Tomato Basil for lunch today and though it wasn’t quite as hot as that bowl of Thupka last week, let’s just say it’s a good thing there was ice water and a basket of naan on the table.

Yesterday was the last day of Navaratri a nine day festival celebrated twice a year in India, and we caught a glimpse of a small parade from our window.  You might have to let this video buffer for a bit before playing it.

Remember that Sesame Street song, “One of these things…”?

Can you guess which one is not like the others?  Do you think if I brought back beef jerky after my next visit home that I could rehydrate it and serve it with mashed potatoes and gravy?  Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Good luck on the flat!!
And why on Earth are you allowing them to keep doing this to you with the soup?? In all seriousness, this is NOT NICE! Perhaps a small complaint to the management would put a quick end to it.
By the way, the shower for Michelle was lovely! She's the sweetest!! The food was great, and the company was great too! Always nice to see your Mom and Dad, not to mention Nicki and Jeremy.

I would have to find management and say, "Ya know... a joke is a joke, but it needs to stop." *I'd be afraid to order anything because my mind would take the direction of, What is they up the ante??

Good luck with the flat!
