My First Post

Numero Uno

My first post, hmm, what to write about. How about me? Perhaps an interview:

Why did you start this blog?

I’ve followed some great blogs for awhile and thought I’d like to give it a try. I don’t lead the most interesting life or have any experience in writing (other than business crap for work). But why not give it the old college try (I don’t have a degree either).

Also, it’s something to do when I have down time at work (hehe).

What will you write about?

I have no friggin’ idea. I’m sure there will be no rhyme or reason to my thoughts or the season (wait, that was a rhyme!). Basically…um…next question please.

Male or female?

Isn’t that apparent when you look at the Barbie secretary at the top of the screen?
Fine, female, for those of you driving on the right side of the road.

How old are you?

A lady never tells her age. Alright, we’ve established that I’m female, but not a
‘lady’. I’m forty-six.

Where do you live?

I live in suburbia where people cut down all the trees and name streets after them.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

A little? I’m 5’2”.

First off...

I'm the first commenter! On the first post! Woo hoo!

Write whatever you want, woman! And? I'm a "great" blog. Whew. I need to sit down and fan myself. Give me a minute to take that all in...

That? Was a wonderful compliment. Thanks! I, too, was once in cubicle hell. Now I'm in "wash the dishes, change the diapers, fold the laundry" purgatory.

And? Naming the streets after the trees? Awesome line, hon!

And finally, I hear the best things come in small packages! Glad to have you on the team!

Well obviously I got the email. I don't know what your hubby's problem is.....
Awesome first post! I'll mark it in my faves and follow along. Now ya just gotta do it everyday. Like I don't. Maybe if I start, you will put me on your faves list.

I love new blogs! And people who make the leap! It's a little scary sometimes but I hope you find it as liberating and - uh - catalytic as I do.

Cheers!

I'm so glad you have started your blog(and on my son's birthday too - must be a good omen.) Do what I do - blog about whatever takes your fancy. I started my blog 10 months ago and I was terrified. In the beginning hardly anyone read me or commented but look at you - you already have all these comments after two posts. That is brilliant. I am excited for you. I hope you enjoy it!

You might have found a way to slip in the interview the fact that you're a great writer with a damn funny sense of humor... then I might have found you faster.

As it is I have to read tons of archives to catch up... :)
