Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:
- Fill a jar with candy corn and have them guess how many are in the jar.
- Halloween themed Bingo.
- Sheets handed out with Halloween trivia…in LARGE print.
- The game where you put a sticker on everyone’s forehead (or back) with an identity that they have to figure out by asking ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions.
- ‘Touch and Feel’ boxes. Have the guests reach into various boxes and try to guess what’s in it. So far I’ve come up with peeled grapes (they feel like eyeballs) and wet spaghetti noodles (guts).
I’d really appreciate any suggestions, and so would my mom who just happens to be one of the nicest people on this planet.
Thanks.

For the halloween themed characters,
Dracula, Dr Jeckell/Mr. Hyde, Frenkenstein, Zombie, Ghost, The Addams Family, Evil Witch, Mummy, Devil, Angel
I'd reconsider those "touch and feel" boxes. Elderly people have dirty minds, if you know what I mean.
Oh now you've set a precendent for yourself!
How about a pin the tail theme....at my daugter's past two birthdays we go to the dollar store and find decals that are supposeed to be for wall decorations and then draw something on a poster board and have that be the target. Like last year we found fairies and they stuck them to a tree. Like you could do witches and draw a broomstick....You wouldn't have to blindfold them at all...just have them close their eyes.
I like the touch and feel boxes...what about crushed walnut shells for bones? Or jelly beans...uh, just cause they are fun and seem cool to feel. And something fuzzy, like stuffing...
That's what I have...good luck, my friend!
I've got nothing. I'm not much of a Halloween person.
If you do want to give 'em a good scare, though, Photoshop a picture of Sarah Jessica Parker nude.
That'd do it.

notmartha.org has some good halloween links up on her site today. I think one of them is for halloween themed names.
Suggesting Halloween themed jello shots is helpful, right?? :)

Have I taught you nothing? This is why you buy cheap-ass paper plates and draw stick figures on them, buy week-old ice cream cake that is stale as all get-out, and put up helium balloons that are "wilted." That way, people think you're a horrible party planner and you never get asked. But? You make up for it with an amazing gift. ;P I must teach you, Grasshopper.
Oh, honey, if only my mind wasn't so twapped from trying to come up with game ideas for the 30 kids I've got coming to my house for Halloween! I'm doing a scavenger hunt, and I can't even come up with 11 clues.
Good luck!!
The first thing that came to mind..."It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
Not sure how you can incorporate, but seniors should recognize it.
I think your other ideas for games are really good!!
